Maurice Rodé holds the degree of Bachelor of Science from the University of London and is a Registered Forensic Practitioner (RFP) with the Council for the Registration of Forensic Practitioners in the speciality Questioned Documents.
He is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Chartered Chemist. He is also a member of the Forensic Science Society and his name is listed in a number of Expert Witness directories.
Maurice Rodé undertook his formal training in the scientific examination of documents and comparison of handwriting/signatures at Scotland Yard’s Forensic Science Laboratory, London.
Since 1983 he has specialised in the scientific examination of documents and comparison of handwriting/signatures applying sound scientific methods with objectives assessment of findings and practices as an independent forensic document examiner.
Maurice Rodé has been recognised as an expert by Courts of Law in the UK and abroad, including the International Court in The Hague. He has, on many occasions presented oral expert evidence on behalf of the Prosecution/Claimant and the Defence/Respondent and also as a Single Joint Expert.
